A center in Capitol Heights, Maryland, is home to 40 male youths and adults learning and praying to kick drug-and-alcohol abuse problems before it's too late. "Teen Challenge," a private residential outreach agency for people 18 and older with more than 120 centers in 42 countries, is the last refuge for some before they become helpless to their addictions or die.
